Denniele Bohannon and Janice Britz joined forces to create The Kansas City Star's block-of-the-month quilt, Remembering Almo, to honour those who have served their country.

Denniele's great-grandfather Almo O'Kell served as a medic during World War I and was one of the many soldiers who never came home. Along with each beautiful block pattern, you get a little peek into O'Kell's life as a soldier.

Two-colour variations and setting options are given for the main quilt. Other projects are included as well. Three more striking quilts, two variations of a table runner and a sweet poppy pin and pincushion round out the projects offered.
