The first in a series of dark, sexy thrillers set across London and Sicily.

Alvie Knightly's heart is on the wrong side of her body. Perhaps that's why nothing in her life has ever gone right. Unlike her twin sister Beth. Beth is the mirror Alvie cannot bear to look into. She has a villa in Sicily and is married to a fabulously rich art-dealer, while Alvie lives in a bedsit and works in telesales. Tinder is her only friend. Then out of the blue she gets a message from a desperate Beth: please come to Italy, I need to ask you something

It's seven days that will change everything, when Alvie realizes that the perfect life is suddenly within her grasp. But to keep it she might have to break a few rules . . .

Set over over one wild week in the dead of summer, Mad is the sexy, hilarious and unexpectedly violent tale of two sisters fighting over one destiny.

Your baby is beautiful but . . . . . . he's not your child.

Your home is stunning but . . . . . . it's not your house.

Your life is perfect but . . . . . . it's not your life.
