The blurb interested me and a work colleague so we both split the bill and bought it together. I was the first to read it and it didn't take as long as I thought it would (considering I haven't read a teen novel in a long while). The chapters are fairly short (around 10 pages or so each) and within the chapters they change POV from the 4 main characters around 2 or 3 times. To begin with when I wasn't familiar with who was who it really irritated me. Even though they give a clear paragraph break and small heading of who's POV you are reading (along with time and date), being written in first person, I would read along and not make the swap of character narrating in my head. And like most teen novels it's littered with plenty of pop culture references and everyone is dating at least someone else. Mystery wise though, I'd probably made my way through 30 pages of the story before coming to my own conclusions and being proven right in the end. So it's kind of like a weird tale of The Breakfast Club but with a sad excuse of a murder mystery....
